Our annual Clanfield Christmas Fun Day took place on the 8th of December, a free family event with games, organisations, Santa’s grotto and bouncy castles!
This year we were joined by the amazing Glitter Art face painters, local company
Polished Perfection, Aerialistic Hoop and the
Clanfield and Catherington Parish Church Group offering all sorts of different activities and crafts as well!
Both of the local Women’s Institutes had stalls with
Catheringtom WI raising £300 for
Rowans Hospice with their bottle tombola, as well as
Hounds for Heroes. Scope Innovations also managed to raise a whopping £756 for their chosen charity
Bliss, who help sick and premature babies.
The Clanfield Centre itself hosted a teddy tombola and a ‘name the teddy’ for fundraising towards the Summer Festival 2025. Along with the bouncy castle fundraising, we raised a mammoth £500!
Over 40 children had appointments with the big man himself in our Santa’s grotto, and of course, the grotto was decorated head to toe by our in-house elves.
Staff worked tirelessly in our cafe taking a record-breaking amount from our homemade cakes, hot drinks and some festive mulled wine!
These events are things we look forward to all year and they are impossible without the support of the community so THANK YOU!
